In XFORG there is no separate publish step. Saving a page puts the change live, and a page's status decides whether visitors can open it at all.
When you click Update Page in the page builder, the new content is saved and visitors see it straight away. There is no draft copy and no staging site.
Before saving, turn off the Edit Mode switch in the bottom-right corner of the builder to preview the page without the builder outlines.
There is no undo after a save. If you are about to make a large change, note what you are replacing first.
The Status column on the Pages screen shows whether a page is Active or Deactivated. Change it from the status badge, or select several pages and use Activate or Deactivate.
A new page is Active as soon as it is created, even while empty.
A deactivated page cannot be opened by visitors and is left out of your sitemap.
You can keep editing a deactivated page and activate it when it is ready.
Each time you save a page's content, XFORG stores it as a new version and makes it the one visitors see. The page builder always opens the latest version.
The admin panel does not currently offer a screen to browse or restore earlier versions.
Kept
Title, description, slug, keywords, OG title, OG description, OG image, the menu and footer, and the page's variables and events.
Reset
Favicon, Author, Publisher, No Index, No Follow, Twitter Handle and Twitter Site.
Set the reset fields on the Metadata screen after your last content change, and check them whenever you edit the page again.
Run through this list before you set a new page to Active or share its address.
